Tom Ellis is the founder and managing principle of The Ellis Company. Tom has over 30 year’s experience in acquiring and building middle market companies. He has personally acquired 23 companies encompassing a wide range of industries. Tom is well versed in not only how to acquire a business but also in how to manage the business. Tom also is the founder of the Institute for Business Acquisitions, LLC. I4BA mission is to teach others how to gain financial independence though acquiring a business.
Cliff, through the course of his career, has gain extensive knowledge in corporate finance as well as business operations. From his start with Harris Bank and BMO Capital Markets he gained experience with commercial banking and lending practices. He then purchased and operated his own multistate distribution company. He is now well experienced in the day to day management of typical midsized business. In addition to business management, Cliff has an extensive understanding of business valuation and deal structures. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Miami University and his MBA from DePaul University.
Kyle received his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in May of 2016 and is a licensed Attorney. In addition to his legal skills, Kyle provides technology support and administration for the Ellis Company. He previously attended DePauw University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts.
